Marian Woodcock was born in Nottingham on March 20 1932. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. She and her beloved Colin were married for 56 years and had two daughters, Sue and Helen and four grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew,Iain and Robert. Marian was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2008 and lived at home in Witton le Wear, lovingly cared for by Colin until May 2013. She spent her last few weeks at Lumley Court, Willington whose dedicated team gave her the love and respect that she deserved.
